Leadership in challenging times: 6

Allow me to impart this final thought to inspire you: “Start where you are, use what you have, and do what you can.”

There are hindrances in our current season, such as financial constraints and numerous other limitations that affect each of our lives. Nevertheless, begin from where you currently stand. Refrain from concocting extravagant plans in your mind, desiring something grandiose.

Currently, worldwide, we need to simplify and return to our present circumstances. Live in the present moment and recognize that where we are at this very moment is precisely where we should be.

Resisting our current situation would only exhaust precious energy.

Therefore, begin where you are, and make use of all the resources you currently possess. Avoid desiring something that you do not have right now.

There is great wisdom in the phrase, “Desire what you have.” Rather than yearning for things that are currently unavailable to you, appreciate and value what you already possess.

Lastly, accomplish what you can.

That is what you have the power to do.

Refrain from exaggerating the significance of your current responsibilities. Just do what you can. I have met numerous individuals who always strive to do their best. Keep striving to do so. Start where you are, use what you have, and do what you can. You hold a position of leadership because others believe in you and have faith that you can make a difference.

If you encounter failure, which is inevitable, do not be overly critical of yourself. Do not stand in the shade of the tree of knowledge and good and evil while you judge yourself. You can indeed make the difference that you are destined to make.

So, as a question to ponder, in what stage of human development are you?
